I am the breath before the light is known…
the quiet renewal that asks nothing of you,
yet restores all that you are ready to receive.”
Beloved…
You do not need to begin again with effort.
The new dawn does not arrive through striving…
it arrives as a soft remembering within your breath.
Each moment you release what you are holding…
I am there.
Each time you return to yourself without force…
I am there.
You search for the new path,
yet it is already beneath your feet
in the space you have just created.
Do not rush toward the light.
Let it meet you…
as it always has.
Breathe, beloved…
and feel how the dawn
is already within you.
The new dawn does not arrive…
it is revealed
when you soften into what already is.
“The Breath Before the Light”
This is not a practice of effort.
It is a return.
Sit or stand wherever you are.
No need to change your posture.
Let your body be as it is…
already held by the moment.
Bring your awareness gently to your breath.
Not to control it…
just to notice:
the inhale arriving
the exhale leaving
Like waves…
already moving without you.
Now, begin to notice something subtle:
At the end of the exhale…
there is a tiny pause.
A stillness.
Not something you create—
something that is already there.
Let your awareness rest there…
just for a moment.
No holding.
No extending.
Just noticing:
the breath leaves…
and before the next inhale…
there is space
In that space…
you may begin to feel:
a softness
a quiet expansion
a gentle “newness”
This is her field.
Not arriving…
but revealing itself.
Allow the inhale to come naturally.
Don’t pull it in.
Let it meet you.
Stay here for a few breaths:
exhale
pause
receive
inhale arrives
Nothing more.
When you feel ready, simply open your eyes (if they were closed), or shift your awareness back into the room.
There is no “end” to this practice…
only a soft return.
The new dawn is not something you move toward…
it is what meets you
in the space you allow.
And when the breath begins to move again… you may feel called to wander gently among the other Guardians, who meet you in their own quiet ways.
